I can't tell you enough how delighted I really was to come home from dialysis just before 5 PM and still have it light outside! YAY! spring is coming, it really is!!!

Fernie anyone can open a new CH. We're glad to have you here to open one!

My tummy is bad tonight, so I'm having tea & toast for dinner.

but i didn't delete tina, i moved them in here! so he gets to see they are here with a "gotcha" attached to them. one of the mod perks. look back. it didn't even mess up how the coffeehouse read!

Sheri, I don't know when I'll know about hte job. It isn't even advertised yet. I have a friend who knew about it early so I was able to get in and get my application in first. I don't know when it closes yet as they are hireing 2 new people. So, anyone trust me to deice their airplane????????

Ok Jiffy I guess you're safe from me. It'll be an interesting job tho. It's a small airport with only 2 commuter airlines that come in. So the job entails baggage handling, reservations, ticketing, deicing and other fun stuff having to do with safety for the bigger one. No fueling tho. Anyway it's a job and that is getting kind of rare these days! I have been trying to get something for the past 2 years after the bean barn lost their contract with trader joes and went out of business.

Yes, Fernie, I would trust you to de-ice a plane I was going to ride. I assume the job comes with training if you don't already know how? I also assume that as a brand new employee you won't be solely responsible to de-ice an entire airport, right? So, it seems safe enough to me!

Jiffy, I think ANYONE would have trouble getting anything over on you as hostess!

thank you merme. i try. and i just had to do that. he said he wanted to keep mods on our toes so i thought a little on his toes was in order!

my belly is full, and I am tired.
the weather is really nice tonight - upper 60's, I'm thinking.
I'm airing out the house some before bed. tomorrow we are in for one more warm day, then it will be cold cold and rainy.
I am soaking up this warmth while it last!

It's cold here .. 5* right now and it's only been up to 11* today...got a little snow- about and inch or so but supposed to stay cold for the next couple days...
I got a kick out of what you did Jiffy .... keep Mark on his toes for sure... nothing gets over on you!
We had a quiet day- had the boys for a little while- Carrie had a short day today... Joe did the school running, I have been cleaning out the pantry and freezer .. using up the stuff that was in there and getting ready to fill it up again, found some chili I had in there and made a batch of cornbread to go with - hit the spot this cold night... Joe built a fire too and we have the humidifier and the fountain going so it doesn't get to dry in here...
Fernie good luck getting the new job... hopeing to hear my sis found one too- her company laid her off right after Christmas... she is getting assistance now and food stamps ... unemployment too I gues so she is probably doing better than when she worked.
Well off to clean up my kitchen.... have a good evening all.

They say tomorrow night we are in for another storm & another blast of artic air. YAY, us!

You are the second person who has mentioned chili to me today. It sounds so good! I am thinking Maxi and I will have to make some this weekend. We haven't had it in a long time.

Last weekend I forgot to shop for anything to drink... Maxi arrived and there was no bottled water, juice, soda, drink mix or anything! Just my coffee grinds! I don't know how I let that happen!!

I gotta stock up for this week. Can't have my kid running about withered and parched!
