I think it was a couple of years ago that I started a topic about my first purple shamrock. I should how big it got and how HUGE the leaves were. Eventually I had to separate it into about three plants, giving one away, and one not making it. The good one got as big as the first one, so I had to separate it again. Now I have one which is blooming profusely, as they all have, but in the winter!! Which is the perks of getting to raise plants indoors!! Just before Christmas I had cut this back to a 'nubbin' because it had finished blooming and was way too top heavy. This is what it looks like now!! I LOVE my plant!!!

It does make me happy! I had a Vinca (I've posted it too) that bloomed thick over and over for me. Right now it is kind of dormant. Also had some Sweet William that bloomed really thick and for a long time!

Hi Shirley, I love that beautiful oxalis!! Wish I had one like that; all my oxalis are weeds that take over the garden beds in Autumn. And please, don't be hating winter too much. We just had a week of 100-110°F, bushfires, power outages, no rain for months, and it is killing our garden. I would love lots of snow right now!!

Thanks everyone for appreciating my plant! Sorry Steve but I love warm-hot weather. I just get so sick of cold, snow, ice! It has been a week since I put the photo here and those flowers have finished more more keep coming up and openig so it is actually STILL looking like that! The stems of flowers and leaves, once they break the soil, come up so fast it is amazing to me!
