A while back I put out seed in a little feeder right outside my door at my good school. It's taken a while but the birds have found it. Hopefully a beautiful cardinal will show up.

Paul, I think they're one of the prettier birds. Yellow is my favorite color so I love the gold fiches but the cardinals red is gorgeous.

This is my best pic from my first Ultimate Photo Battle. It hit #1 a couple of times, but ended up at #7. ![[Linked Image]](http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd95/obywan59/upb-weekly-battle-certificate-for-p.jpg) My Red-Bellied Woodpecker shot only made #42, so it didn't get a ribbon. ![[Linked Image]](http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd95/obywan59/upb-weekly-battle-certificate-fo-1.jpg)

people are so strange. I think the 2nd is so unique, not an every day shot. But, the cardinal is a beautiful bird. I'm sure dodge voted for that one.

That Red-Bellied shot is FANTASTIC!!!. It would have rated very high on a bird photography site.

On Birder's World forum, we have been discussing the fact that FEMALE Cardinals may actually be prettier than the MALE Cardinals. Male Cardinals are STUNNING, but females have a more subtle, aetherial beauty. People there post MORE pictures of the females than the males. Right now Cardinal pictures are all the rage at Birder's World.
Terry, I think we have the SAME female that travels back and forth from your house to mine.

Terry - I LOVE that picture of the red-bellied woodpecker in flight - amazing!
And your second picture of the female cardinal - looks like she has lipstick, blush, and eyebrow pencil on to enhance her beautiful features - great shot!

Terry, I think we have the SAME female that travels back and forth from your house to mine. She must be one of those East/West migrators. Actually, I think after she puts on her makeup, she just hops in her bright red T-bird and drives.

I enjoy looking at the photos.........Birds are so funny.. Some are mean. But the colors are great .. I have cardinal photos all over my cook book cover. I made it from a clear binder which you can insert photos in.. makes cooking fun.

I have most all of my recipes in those kionds of binders, barb.---I measured what size I needed to fit on the ends, and then printed words out so I could put all of them in a row & know instantily which one I needed.--I have one for =the recipes I use most, one for Gardenhlper & clipped recipes--and several more. I put each recipe that I type up/print out in a protective sheet cover and then into the binder--that way if/when I splatter some food on the recipe & just wipe & everything and then it is as good as new. Beautiful photos by the way----

I'm writing a book. It's called:
Thorn's True and Accurate Answers to EVERY Question that has EVER been Asked in the History of the Universe!
You get such TRUE answers as:
1. "No, we're not there yet"
2. "Yes, I come here quite often"
3. "42"
Coming to a bookstore near you...SOON!!!
