I stretched out on the couch and fell asleep then woke up freezing cold! While I was sleeping, the snow storm began. No wonder Merme is so freezy. HEY! Last night I had a funny dream. I must have gotten tangled up in my blankets because I dreamed that one of the GH forum members had folded my big comfortor in a very complex way that made it look like a beautiful maze garden! It was quite beautiful but I was trapped! And so I woke up wrestling my blankie. Merme *cold enough to wish she was wearing a blankie*

ha ha ha......funny dream, merme! I once fell asleep with a heating pad on my back. I dreamed the house was on fire. Fernie, what is shoeing?......shopping?
Man, oh man! yall are not going to believe this! I mentioned before that I do house cleaning. well, one of the houses we clean is my cousins. Last time we were there one of the girls broke a candle holder. it was a cheapy one dollar candle holder. my cousin didn't even realize she still had the darn thing. we got another to replace it anyway. no big deal, right. guess what happened today???? another one of the girls broke a plate there! neither of theses girls has broken ANY thing before! now, we have broken two things at the SAME house back to back! if only it could have been a different house....or not my cousin. we left a note, but I tried calling her a while ago. I want to tell her first before she gets home or before her husband gets home and calls and tells her.

Shoeing for Fernie means tramping on top of snow with snowshoes. You know those tennis racket looking things in cartoons? Very good exercise. I was busy today. I took my son to school and dropped by my other son's house to play with his dog. Then I shopped at one store. Brought that stuff home and made a list for my other store. Went out shopping again, bought lunch and stopped by my son's house to share it with his dog. Then I picked Ted up from school and brought groceries and him home.

I still dont get 'snow shoeing', unless it means those big wicker round things I've seen people wear on their feet on tv??? but, that doesn't sound like a lot of fun???
I like your theory on not cleaning too, afgrey. boy, I was scarred to touch anything the rest of the day.

You've been busy today, Tina. I've been a slug by comparison! But I'm still tired and cold so I just made a hot cup of Red rose tea and plan to warm up and perk up at the same time. Merme *loving the plans*

Yes, Cricket, those wicker things are snow shoes. And they are quite fun because they allow you to walk on TOP of the snow instead of plowing through it because you've sunk down in. You can access many more places than you could otherwise... pretty in the woods.
Up here it is a family outing. Dad carries a backpack w/ a thermos of hot chocolate and the whole family goes shoeing in a lovely area.

Cricket Red rose isn't a flavor; it is a brand name. And yes, I also drink it cold. It is also good mixed with Grand Mariner for a Tea & Sympathy. Afgrey I would love to hear some more of your boarding school stories. My hair needs curled & I don't want to go to the salon! Sleeping 95% of the day is better than sleeping 100%, so give yourself credit! Merme

I appreciate your sense of humor. Very much.
I opened a new CH for us because I didn't want anyone getting their fanny slammed in this one when you lock 'er up.
