OH, THAT WAS TOO CUTE! He certainly has a lot to say, what ever he is saying. Does he quack like a duck, or was that something else? I heard hello, what's up, and it sounded like something with the word 'ok' in it. Or now that I went back and read what you said he says, when I heard what's up he might have been saying up up? I believe I heard pretty boy in there too - not sure. I'll have to listen to that again. thanks for sharing. I enjoyed that.

From the photo sitting on the cage he looks like a Quaker maybe.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

My Rabbits were talking away to your bird, Betty! My bunnies kept saying, "Pretty bird! Do you suppose that he might have some memories of his native land, or was he born in the U.S.?"

Hi Bettyboop, sorry i missed your post at first, because I've been away and couldn't access the website. He is a very cheerful little chap, isn't he? I could hear "pretty boy" in there. Couldn't make out the rest of the words; I will have to listen when my 5-year-old is not chatting to me at the same rate as the bird! Anyway, your bird should make a fine politician one day!

Thanks, Thorn, I appreciate that very much. We do have some friends who lost everything in the fires, but thankfully our town has escaped so far. I was in Perth, where my mother was very ill. Thankfully she is a little better now.

Looks like he enjoys it!
You know bettyboop, I've been giving this a great deal of thought (at least 30 seconds worth), and I think that pretty boy needs a more masculine name. Have you considered calling him 'Cruiser', or 'Gearbox', or even 'Crusher'?

Yes, it's funny with how we come up with our pet names. My eldest daughter has 2 rabbits. The first one she bought was a boy, and she called him Max. The second, well, they said it was a girl, so she named her Ruby. But later, it turned out 'she' was a 'he', so we had to change his name to Reuben. The rabbit boys used to fight a lot, but now that they are senior citizens, they get along pretty well.
