ok, ms. merme. I seem to recall you requested a hat thread be opened. I didn't feel much like cleaning today on my day off, so I've been mostly playing all day.
the only time I will wear a hat is when it's freezing cold. and then it's just a baseball hat turned backward.
so here it goes....

UGH! I wish I still had my hat collection from when I was a teen now! Or at least took a picture of it when I had it displayed in my room.

I was a "hat thief" when I was younger. I would playfully snatch hats from guys and then keep them. I'd take them home and hang them on my wall. One guy found out where I lived and came to retrieve his hat. I wasn't home and my mother took him to my room, showed him my walls, and said, "Which one is yours?" He took a look around, saw how many I had, and told her I could keep it.

Imagine an 8 foot by 8 foot room with 4 rows of hats hanging on each wall all the way around the room. And they hung close enough together to touch! And no 2 hats were the same.

I have always LOVED hats, although I rarely wear them now. As a boy I had a big wide-brimmed gray floppy hat that I wore 24/7 until it finally disintegrated, ON MY HEAD! It looked like Tom Sawyers hat.

So did folks call you Thorn Sawyer??? LOL

I've just not got around to it, Cricket. And, I'm not sure of the interest in the topic because of the link to a previous hat thread... nobody seems to want to post hat pictures.

here's Johnny in my ballgame ear muffs that I keep in the back of the car. His ears were freezing the other day when he was working outside so he got them out. My hats are on the top shelf in my closet and I don't have the energy right now to get one down. Maybe tomorrow.

This is me in my furry winter hat & black jacket. I have many types of winter hats but this is my favorite.

I rarely wear a hat, but when it was so cold and the ice in the trees I wore one of Ashley's when I picked up the tree limbs

I am way confused----the picture above Loz's post of the person with the hat is Memosa not Merme, right?? Merme's photo was way to blurry (at least to me) for to see her eyes????

I cannot wait to see the photo of merme in her hat.--Didnt I read it that Maxi will be taking a photo of his mom & her hat???

Carol Jean, I am at the top of page 3 in my fur hat. Memosa is further down in a mirror photo.

awesome hat! and it goes SO well with the jacket and nails.

I usually wear two sweaters under that jacket, Cricket. A pink turtleneck under a white v-neck. But I didn't want to put so much on for just a picture!

I'm fussy about my nail color. I ususally wear darker colors in winter & lighter ones in summer, but not always. I had a pale pink on last week.
