Welcome, hawaiial.
I don't imagine you will have any pineapple growing questions for us? ha ha
you probably pull those out like weeds.
poke around the different forums and make yourself at home.
glad to have you.

I have family that lives in HI and I was even born there! Dad was Navy though, so we didn't get to stay for long... :(

We just moved to the eastside Big Island. It was the best thing that has happened to us ! We really want to learn to plant a garden. I bought a few herb plants as those will be in a section by themselves. We need advice on all this darn lava..lol dianer

oooo...can't help you on that one! LOL The only thing I would even think of to suggest is to bring in a LOT of top soil! LOL That and raised beds. I don't know of anything that would grow on lava...

my family lives in Honolulu, which is where I was born. We lived on Ford Island for about 2 years after before my dad got shipped to Washington State. One of these days I'm going to return to Hawaii...just don't know when that will ever be.
