Sorry your in pain.. DO you take anything? Tylenol is my favorite for arthur. Hope you can still work. That dang stuff just strikes in the dangest places. I like soaking in Hot water .........
:kisssie: yes barb, i take arthritis tylenol as well as about 10 prescriptions to manage this evil thing that has conquered my body. the good news is that the prescriptions are keeping it where i can work, although i use a cane to walk a lot of times now. but, i keep plugging away and still have my job thank you for caring!
Don't ever quit trying......Hubby has it nasty in the fingers and we try to keep them going .. Legs too. They say keeping the muscles around the joints in use keeps the arther at rest. Take lots of hot baths.
We cant have our favorite mouse disappear......
I just came back from that horrible flu that you everything comes out both ends at the same time. Most I ever threw up in my life........Everyone in our area seems to have it ???????
thanks barb. i won't quit. not till i can't move at all. and i'm not there yet.
That is so good to hear, Jiffy---we can't have our favorite Mouse getting so terrably sick that she isn't around to talk to us now can we??? take care----

Sleep next to the commode .is my advice..LOL
I am ok today..
Missed seeing you here..But guess it was me gone , not you..
I've been here on and off.....posting here and there. Since Mark got laid off I haven't been home as much....so I haven't been online as much.
How are you?
When did Mark get laid off?
Right before Christmas. It's supposed to be temporary. For a while I thought they were going to go under--the company. But the boss told him a few days ago not to worry, that he absolutely would be one of the ones coming back. Living on unemployment money is HARD. Nowhere near what you normally get, but we're doing okay. Mark just applied for the local prisons here a few weeks ago. It starts out at 35,000. Not a lot in most areas but around here that is pretty high pay. Remember it's very rural here and not a lot of jobs really. There are about 5 prisons all in a row about 15 miles away. Just 4 years ago they were starting officers off at 27,000--so it's went up a lot really. Although compared to the rest of the US it's probably miserably low pay for an officer. They have great benefits though, and you can retire after 20 years. We'll see what happens. To put things in perspective my 3 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home only cost about $50,000. And it's not a bad house--plus it came with a whole extra lot. My brother said in MI where he is it would be at least $150,000. I guess it just depends on where you live.
Barb, I hate that you were so sick. That is no fun at all. I've never had both ends at once before thank God. That would be terrible. So you've been able to eat some now?
Hey my sis in law is about 50 and took a job as a guard in mens prison. She loves it an the pay an benefits . She lives close to the border of maryland. She is actually in Pa.. She lost her job as a nurse and like you it is rural. So she had to take some classes and graduate.. Now loves it ..
