Okay so I didn't get any good photos of my party after all.

At first, I just plain couldn't get the camera to turn on. So, my EX changed the batteries for me. I think he accidently also changed some of the settings because ALL my pictures were blurry.

This is the only one that came out...

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Just so's you know I'm not kidding about the camera settings, here is the one I took of my EX who was in a VERY good mood today!

And here is one of me. The woman standing beside me is my EX's girlfriend's mother. (got that?)

The only truly clear item in the photo is the top of the Rum bottle on the table!

Ummm, even the rum bottle is blurry, Merme. I'm glad you got some pics even if it looks like the camera person was hitting that rum bottle heavily.

*BTW it looks like the Macro( flower) button was pushed over accidentally,, or the lens didn't come out all the way, when viewing the window if what the picture taker sees is blurry,, then it's not in focus,, ,, just make sure the flower button is off unless you're doing close ups and make sure the lens comes out all the way when turning it on,, it will make a noise that doesn't sound complete if it isn't out, *

Yup I'm the only one who wore my crown throughout the party. Everyone else just kept on their beads. I have crowns all over the place now! lol

Tomorrow I am taking some of the gumbo to one of my favorite techs at dialysis because I promised her I would. I'm also taking one of the King Cakes for the staff to share.

loved seeing the pictures merme even if they were blurry. The point was gooten across...
Mine has switched settings all on its own 2 times now. Once right before Christmas day and one time last week. I am wondering if my problem is not the memory card being removed....(I took it out to take the card to Wal-mart)--and you did say you had the batteries changed..... why

Carol in this case I do believe Diane is correct about the flower button. I recall Edward moving one in that area of the camera though I didn't think of it at the time. I can't see that icon on the camera but Maxi showed it to me after I read to him about it from a PM she sent me. I'm going to have to check it tomorrow when I have daylight in here to see better.

I have extremely low vision.... and I can't see if a photo is blurry while it is still in the camera. I have to get a bigger version of it in my pc so I can see how sharp it is or isn't.

Now that I think of it I think you are right, merme.---I seem to remember seeing the flower button on mine when I was having a problem too.

I really need to find of what I am doing to cause mine to come on though....
\
yoy will let me know i f that is your problem though won't you ??? I am going to read up on mine & see if that is why I am having problems....

Thanks for the help.

I so sorry about your low vision Merme, but honestly I often cannot tell if my photos are clear or blurry until they are loaded onto the computer either.
