I agree, based on time of day. Sometimes I want coffee, other times I want tea.

Now how is that for a nice middle-of-the-road opinion?!?!?!

Good morning everybody.

I hope the fog lifts before I have to drive down into the valley. It is almost always worse down there than up here. See everyone later.

Coffee, coffee, coffee...........everyone assumes that since I'm from the UK I like tea more. But I don't. I never drink tea. Never did like it. I remember drinking coffee when I was very small at my Nana's.

Hadeda. I fixed the water......you'd better get to work scrubbing those floors now! neener

I'm not out of bed yet. But I think I'm motivating in a second so I can go to moms for coffee. Mark took the dog with him to his old owners home. He had to go out there today, so I'm curious to see how the dog reacts. If he wants to come back easily..........

Anyway.......must, get, moving.

Oh interesting thing, I signed up last night for this website chacha. They pay you to answer peoples questions. Any random question. You find the answer online and submit it and get paid. It says you can make $3 to $9 an hour doing it and I sure could use extra cash right now. It's legit too. My best friend signed up, she knows someone that has done it for a long time. If anyone needs extra cash it might be worth checking out.....read up about it and see what you think.

Morning Carol. wavy Mom always buys us flavored creamer for our coffee. We like trying all the different types. It's our special treat for our afternoon coffee. thumbup

Well I guess I really DO need to motivate and get out of this bed.....it's freezing in here though and it's so warm IN my bed.

Well, I'll talk to you all later.

Morning....
I have been up for a while now but had boys to feed for breakfast today so didn't get on the puter till now.... in a few minutes I am going to get Mom in shower and then it will be my turn-- Carrie and I are going to go get our nails done at noon today... haven't done it in a long time but it's time for a little me time I think.
We have another warm day today before we cool off again and they say it may actually rain later on in the week... we could use it.
I used to be a daily coffee drinker but not much anymore- do when I go out for breakfast... I usually have tea in the mornings now-- or hot choc if it's really cold in my house...
Well have to get Mom moving and get stuff done....

Hey, All!

I have never cared for the taste of coffee. LOVE the SMELL of it, but YUCK! I am a Iced Sweet Tea person, through and through. I will go through 3 gallons/DAY by myself! LOL Course, in the summer that goes up to about 5/day!

Loz...do you have a link to that? As much time as I spend on the computer now that I'm unemployed, I may as well get paid to surf! LOL

My fridge is working again, my septic lines have been fixed. I'm sitting around waiting for the Service Master people to come and clean the basement. I wonder if they will declutter it, too...

If you just google cha cha it will be the first link there....and under the link it says become a cha cha guide. Usually they only do it by invite so it's a good time to sign up now.

I do like iced tea. thumbup Problem is now that I only to decaf I have a hard time finding decaf iced tea being served...

Heading to the library and store. Hope everyone is having a great day! wavy

Hi everybody ~

I just got back from church for the Imposition of Ashes. My EX's girlfriend's mother brought Maxi down to join me. I was proud of my son because when the priest asked for someone to read aloud, Maxi jumped right in and did it! Good going, kid! In a church he has never attended before, no less.

Tonight we went to an unfamiliar church because my dear friend Eckart is the new priest there and we've been wanting to visit now that he is there. So my girl took me and we all had a nice time.

I'm a chacha guide, loz. But not for long enough yet to say much about it.

Tired tonight. Dialysis today, then church, now home & dinner & laundry and an early medical appointment tomorrow.

Good morning. I did not watch Oprah. Was it about the economy?
I am sorry that Aubry and Colby are ill. Are they in the hospital? It is a bad time of year for colds and flu. Are you over yours yet, Sheri?
I woke early this morning. I could have gone back to sleep but chose to stay up and drink an extra cup of coffee or two. I love my mornings alone before the rest of my family wakes.

Oprah was about tent cities springing up around California from middle class people who have lost their jobs, then eventually their homes and cars. It's horrible. Some people thought they had enough savings but after months of no work they couldn't keep going. It was sad.

I remember when my children were home I'd try and get up quietly and have a few minutes a lone. It gets the day off to a good start.

Morning
I try and get up first too but haven't done it for a while- for some reason Mom is getting up earlier lately.... I missed oprah yesterday too - the boys were watching cartoons so I read....
Sheri hope your grands get better soon... scary when kids are sick....
Carrie and I went and got our nails done yesterday- acrylics - been a long time since I did this- makes typing harder.... got to see the girl I used to babysit for , took care of her boys for about 3 yrs... oldest was 3 when I first started and baby from birth, she and her hubby are both over 6 ft tall so boys are too- oldest is 11 and already 5 ft 5, taller than me and almost as tall as our Joseph- and he is 14... they both weighed more than 10 lbs when they were born- used to tease her a say they were born 3 months old... big boys!
Well off to get some brekfast and my shower- got to clean house today-- been putting it off doing other stuff... I am sure laundry hampers are full too...

It is quite sad. Cal is in bad shape. I avidly read as much as possible about the rest of the country to see how we are in comparison. Comparing prices and general cost of living. It is going to get worse before it gets better, I'm afraid. And I'm not sure where I can help.

These people are walking 3 miles one way to get water to bring back. They are actually breaking the law but the mayor isn't enforcing that right now. This can happen to any one of us. It's so sad.

Good morning, everybody.

Sheri I am sad to hear your grandbabies are so ill. I hope they make speedy recoveries.

I saw my back specialist today & he did those shots in my butt again and then he worked on my shoulders & upper back, relieving much of my pain. YAY!

The sky is so overcast, it looks like we are in for some sort of weather.

I'm still tired today, so I may nap after lunch.

Good morning! We are having bad weather here, Merme! We are supposed to get up to 9 inches of snow here today and 30 mph winds this afternoon. Should be an interesting drive home after work. School is letting out at noon too. It just started about 30 min. ago but it is coming down pretty good. I wish I was home. I don't mind this weather when I am in my cozy house. I just don't like to drive in it.

It's sort of warm today but we're supposed to have rain all weekend.

Be careful on the way home Jess. kissie I wish we'd get that here! grin Since I don't drive in it I'd love a big storm.

I went shopping today and got great deals! A 4 piece solar light set with leaves around the sides of them---8.99!!!!! I bought the exact same ones at Lowe's a few years ago for $25.

A huge 3 foot wooden sign that says Garden sweet garden. It has pots and birdhouses and flowers on it and it's soooooooo me! $3.99! shock At the nice local store Peebles it would have easily been $20--easy.

Got myself a computer game with 10 games on it for $6.99. All good games too. Not cheap filler games.

I also got Athena a metal wall hanging of High School Musical for her bedroom. It was normally $15, marked down to $1.99. It's pretty big too. She loves HSM. See she's determined to save up enough money to buy $20 worth of Avon to enter my raffle I'm having within the next 2 campaigns. $20 gets you an entry. So I figure that even if she doesn't win I'll tell her she won that sign. thumbup

Also got her a nice rubber Bratz ball for outside---came in a big box. It's like a dodgeball ball, not a cheap plasticy one.......Saving that as part of her Easter stash.

What a nice morning I've had. And Dad bought us all lunch too! grin thumbup

Hope everyone's day is going great!

Oh and we got some good news yesterday.....even with the bad economy Mark is going to go back to work on Monday! Thank you God!!!!!!!!! I was so worried that his company would just declare bankruptcy. So this is great news for us.

Good thing Mark's going back to work with your day of shopping Loz. Where did you get that solar ball????? Does every place have them but Monroe? Our Peebles has closed down.

Actually it's just solar lights with stakes. But they are cute. Around the edges of them are leaves.....the set I currently have are still going strong, they are nice. I bought them at Ollies Bargain Outlet. I believe Barb has one of them near her. I think it's just an mid east coast chain.

Our Peebles isn't that old. Less than 5 years....they have some really nice things but I always scour the place for the best clearance deals because they are pricey.

Have a good afternoon Sheri, I gotta run and get a few things taken care of around here!

Jess you stay safe!

Today we are getting a warm wind from the South. I wish it would stay with us and blow all this cold & snow away. But they are predicting we will have snow Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday! We are so not done yet!

Blow South Wind, Blow!

I hope you are home safe and sound now, Jess. I am but I haven't any weather worries today.
I feel I accomplished a lot. I got to take out any of my aggressions with a hammer to a broken dresser. I broke it down further to fit into a thrash can. That is always fun. What I didn't realize was that the top was actually glass glued onto it. I thought it was plexi-glass. I'm glad I was wearing glasses. That was fun.
Now I think a nap may be in order. Before I have to think about dinner.

oh, I know about the sickey-ness coming and going. I've been sick off and on for at least a month now. I blame mine on the tree polen.

boy, tina! that does sound like fun - smashing up a dresser with a hammer. I bet that did let loose some frustration.

I plan on pounding some t-post with a hammer tomorrow for the garden fence. that should be interesting activity for me and my tennis elbow! I wonder how well I can hammer with my left hand?

well, our weather has been nice and warm, but boy we had some very strong winds today. I lost a whole seed pack! (an egg carton with seeds that have not come up yet on my table on the porch) that's okey dokey. I had about given up on those seeds anyway. I have plenty of other seedlings waiting for a home in the garden.

Hi Cricket!

I am making a pot of tea. It is very cold & damp here tonight. The South Wind left us, alas alack, so tea will do me well.

I am just so happy tonight to be free of my back pain for a while. I wanna celebrate & DANCE! My girl couldn't believe the improvement in my walking when I came out of the doctor's office. It is amazing how pain is so limiting!
