Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it. ~Russel Baker
I up because Maxi woke me, saying he was bored/lonely! Otherwise, I'd still be snoring....
Gotta go make some coffee.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
morning al;l, been out this morning playing in the snow with Ashley, we got a little more snow last night, usually it'll melt in a day but not this time, temps just are not going to get warm enough
I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once. -Jennifer Unlimited- Yard Update -April 2012
It's been snowing here since 9:30 this morning. It could have started earlier, but it wsn't noticed until then. It's sticking pretty good now, though.
Teeny and Allie are just heartsick...they've been running fevers since Friday morning, and I won't let them out to play in it. I don't need them getting any sicker than they already are!
Snow here too. Our storm is supposed to last through Tuesday.
I hope Teeny & Allie feel better soon, Annette. And good wishes to your household also, Belinda.

Hi all, Lazy Sunday here-- Joe is off this weekend and that throws me off- we made breakfast this morn and read the paper together.. I did a facial and a hot bath... conditioned my hair-cleaned my kitchen good.... he traded tv's around - decided to give mom a bigger one in her room and put the flat screen smaller one in the extra bedroom kids playroom ... don't think she even noticed... she is doing okay now.... I know she sundowns occssionally but the othernight was just strange,,, usually once she is asleep she stays that way... goes with the dementia I guess... going to try and get her into podiatrist this week if I can... We are warming up this week to the low 70's they say- will be nice and I will enjoy it ... this is supposed to be our snowiest month and we have had blizzards in March so will enjoy it while we have it. Nana
We are supposed to get snow but my power went out this morning for no reason at all and didn't come back on until after 3. Our power goes off constantly. There has GOT to be something wrong with a line somewhere for it to happen so often. I've called and called and am always told a supervisor will call me back but no one ever calls. I think I'm going to write the CEO of the power company and see if I get a response.
Has it only begun going out since they started working on your roads, Sheri. Or was it hinkey before? Mine is iffy here. The slightest thing tends to cut us off sometimes. But has been like that for many years.

It's been that way from the beginning Tina. The road work hasn't made a difference. We were actually hoping that having the poles moved around and the lines changed a little would be an improvement.
we've gone from pouring and I mean lots and lots of rain, to sleet and now pouring snow today. I'm thankful my power is on and I'm thankful I've got a house and food. I'm still thinking about that Oprah show.

Last week Lucy Li or Lisa Ling or someone like that gave a report on tent cities going up in California. Normal people like us. Not drunks or drug addicts or mental people but regular people who lost their jobs and then their homes and then their cars and are living in tents in California. some of the couples had 6 to 12 months of money saved up but couldn't find jobs within the 6 to 12 months time and couldn't sell their houses. It was so sad.
