just wanted to share my pride in the fence I put up around the garden today. hubby has been sick and took a mid day nap today. it warmed up so nice today and I was getting antsy about the fence. so origianally I just figured I'd get the t-post somewhat hammered in the ground. then, once I got them hammered somewhat in the ground I figured I might as well hammer them all the way into the ground. Then I figured I'd just stretch out the fencing and see if I could get it attached to the first post.....well, you see the pattern, right? I ended up doing the entire fence by myself. I AM fence builder! hear me roar!

That is the first song that popped into my head when I read your title. It does so feel good to accomplish something usually left up to the menfolk. And it surprises them so much when you can! Congrats!

he didn't say anything at all carol jean. he probably felt a bit like he let me down. finally, I asked him what he thought. I figured he'd tell me it wasn't straight here or tight enough there. he's such a perfectionist when it comes to building things. but then he told me it looked real nice.

Good job on the fence!!! Do we get pictures of it?? And I see you have a nice "fencer" title now! I got my title after tearing down a wall....hmmm....we're a general construction crew around here!!!
oh.... and me and photobucket don't get along like we used to. I do think, however, a picture would be in order! maybe tomorrow I'll choke down a couple of shots of whiskey and see if that will give me the patients and gusto to go back into that crazy place!
