I recently bought some primroses for the first time and have had them indoors (transplanted to a nice roomy pot). I used potting soil that said it was enriched already, no need to fertilize for a month. I've followed directions regarding temperature, light, and watering...I thought I was doing good, because I went from 4 blooms to 14 in a very short time.

But now all my blooms don't in come their original "Orion Scarlet" color---they're healthy looking enough, but come now a pale, pinkish-orange (but my leaves look GREAT).

Anybody know?

I am not famliar with Orion scarlet. But if the leaves are healthy, it sounds like the fading colors might be the natural progression of this plant. Unless you get buds dropping off, most problems with plants show in the leaves first.
