Hi,

We're leaving in mid April for vacation and will be gone approx. 12 days.. I want to start my seedlings but with us being on vacation I don't want to leave them in the care of our cats... Hmmmm So when I get back late April- would it be okey to start my seedlings? Or will I just have to buy already started plants? I'm thinking tomatoes, squash, watermellon and so on.

Thanks,
Theresa

I think that temp. and pet protection are the main factor here so I would just buy my tomatoes plants after the trip so I can keep an eye on things and get the other seeds in the ground before the trip IF the ground temp. is around 65F. or better, if not, just do it all after.
