Thank You Kindly Diane,

The design is sheer material ......It covers the entire hat. I made another lady a st patricks day card from the left overs and she loved it .

Love that!! How did you make that? James and I are both Irish. His family goes all out for St. Pat's Day. We walk in the parade and all.

Hubby is Irish.

I just used 2 pieces of cardboard ....big plate and small one .

I made it up.

cut material larger than the circle.....pull the large one tight and tie it .

take the small one and ( 2 materials there white and sheer shamrock one)
pull it tight but stuff it with fiber fill .......to the shape you want , then tie it and put the 2 tied pieces together and sew around the edge of the small one catch the large one as you go.

Try it .

Thanks

I started out making tiny pin cushion hats .. Just one small cardboard circle and stuffed the top.......Then came st patricks day and I had seen the fancy material......I grabbed it and went home.
Well I paid for it ..LOL

And that began my hat. :ding:
