coconut lime! Echinacea (coneflower) zones 3-8 Description: This new Echinacea could be described as a taller, white flowering version of 'Pink Double Delight' PPAF since it's the first-ever double white echinacea. The center pompon starts out green and ages to pale lime green with an orange cone. The ray petals are white. These unique flowers are produced atop strong, well-branched stems from mid through late summer. This new hybrid comes from the breeding work of AB Cultivars in The Netherlands Bloom Color: White/light lime green Bloom Time: July-August Foliage Color: Green Height: 24-30" Spread: 30-36" and Echinacea purpurea 'Pink Double Delight' Coneflower zones 3-8[/color] Description: This brand new Echinacea has flowers that are similar to 'Razzmatazz' but has a shorter, more compact habit. A profusion of true bright pink, pompon-like flowers which measure about 3" across are produced on strong, well-branched stems from mid through late summer. The flowers are long-lasting, turning lavender pink as they age. This new selection comes from the breeding work of AB Cultivars in The Netherlands. Bloom Color: Bright Pink Bloom Time: Summer to fall Foliage Color: Green Height: 18-24" Spread: 12-18" Echinacea 'Harvest Moon'™ Cone flowerzones 4-9 Description: Aptly named, this selection sports earthy gold flowers the color of a harvest moon with a golden orange cone. . Plant it up close where you can enjoy its delightful rose-like fragrance. The bloom ages to a very pale gold with a bold gold center ,, blooms are long lasting. They are well-branched and are vigorous growers. Remember these from last Year?? The Double Pink delight and harvest moon is coming back!!!!!! I removed the leaves I used to protect them from winter and there is green leaves on both of them, * more on the DPink Delight*,, There is no sign of life on the Coconut lime tho' , But keeping My fingers crossed, I did save seeds,, so I'll plant them and see what happens!!!!

OHHHHH, Diannnnnnnnnne---Yooo Hoooo-- I need some advice.......How soon can I plant my Coconut Lime, DBL Pinks and Harvest Moon seeds outside.--and how late can I do the same???? Are there any special directions???? ****I need the how late, because Rod is going to 'redo' the edging of my flower bed at some point--and I do not think it will upset the garden proper, but one never knows.....****

I would as Soon as Possible ! Sooner you plant ~ sooner they Bloom! I sprinkled seeds around mine before it got cold, I believe the mother plant of the Coconut lime isn't coming back,, Not sure ,, But I think Not. However I see little seedling coming up HOPEFULLY it's the seeds I planted and NOT some random Bird Gift!

Diane---I am SO VERY EXCITED for you--- MY Purple are still not up--too early here yet, I guess. About me planting my CCL, DBL Pink & HM-- I was watching the local this morning-----apparently I cannot afford to have tender vegetation showing its head so soon here in this neck of the woods---I need to wait a few more weeks---which turns out to be good as next week we are suppose to get heavy rains---& that would just wash out my seed right??? I will wait until the first week of April---
