before I go goggling myself into craziness.....does anyone know off the top of their heads if you can feed guppies to catfish and perch?
we have a ton of guppies that I'm always trying to pawn off on people for feeder fish. my son has a friend over for the night that has 2 catfish and 4 perch in a tank at his house. Can tropical fish be feed to local fish?
I'd love to unload some, but I don't want to hurt his fish.

i don't see why not. if he has them in a tank. lots of fish eat guppies.

I wish I had never gotten those darn things! I've had people tell me, just flush 'em if your tired of them. whats the difference between feeding them to other fish or flushing them?
I think there is a big difference!

I guess what I'm concerned about, is a fish from this side of the world eating a fish from the other side of the world?

I unloaded over a dozen guppies with my son's friend. those perch and catfish were gobbling them up like no bodies business. maybe I should get a perch for my tank to handle the guppie population????

Let me build a nice grass-lined nest in my willow tree for them, where they can get plenty of fresh air and sunshine.
