These pictures were all taken 3 days ago, mid-day. All of our cats were lazing around and could barely muster a smile for me - all except Seven who had headlights!!!
Amber in the window in this room - she was so sprawled out and lazy, that at one point she actually rolled over in the windowsill and fell out on top of a plant that is in a stand just below - it actually was quite funny!
This is my son's very large, polydactyl cat, Oliver. I've posted pictures of him over the years, whenever they come to visit. He and Seven will be with us for about a month and a half now. He jumped from Brian's bed to his computer desk in a blink of an eye and made himself right at home! Brian says he does this all the time!
And lastly for tonight... Seven! She cracks me up with her expressions! Look at those headlights!
Awww, they are all pretty cats....but I really like Amber and her eyes. What a nice life they all lead....makes you think that it wouldn't be so bad to be someones well loved cat.
Salem wanted equal time - here she is in one of her favorite resting spots - inside the closet in this room, on a box, behind hanging clothes! So she can peek out and not really be seen since she's so dark and all that show are her eyes sometimes!
Cats are interesting animals, aren't they? They choose the strangest places to sleep sometimes. My Tika will jump up onto my computer table, here in the kitchen, and try to make herself comfortable on my laptop AS I'M TYPING sometimes...
I only have two cats right now, but some day I hope to be one of those "cat ladies" you always hear about on TV who has like 30 cats and uses all thier ss check to feed cats instead of themselves. I can't wait! Did I mention I'm allergic? LOL

we see that in our DD's future.
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
Seven thought it was nice and comfy up on Don's computer monitor the other day. She's so funny with him - since they've moved back home, she only "talks" to him, and follows him around like a puppy!
I've been taking Amber out in her carrier to sit on the deck with me in the sun a few times this summer. When she and Roxie were smaller, I used to put both of them in it and they'd enjoy the warmth and a different view for a change.
I found a large canvas "cathouse" in a store recently, and took Amber outside in it for the first time today.
She wasn't too sure of it at first - kept pawing at the front screen.
Amber settled down to enjoy the nice afternoon. Take a look at this thing - it even has roll up windows! Pretty cool!
"HUH??? What's that I hear? A leaf? A bug? WHAT???"
we had a cat several years ago that litterally wiped out our lizzard population around the house. It took 3 years after the cat was gone for our lizzards to reappear.

that's what I always thought too dodge but the other night Lizzy got stuck in the rafters of the carport. I'm not sure how she got up there but we watched her work and work trying to figure out how to get down. Finally Johnny got a tall ladder and helped her.
