Is that how you spell mod podge? Anyway - I saw this on BHG website. Haven't tried it yet, gotta go get some 'mod podge'.

Take your seed packets with the pictures, use a decorative scissors to cut around the edge to make it pretty, mod podge them all over a pot, also decorate with sunflower seeds - make them look like little flowers. They were really cute! I'll post when I make one - or 2!

OHHHHHHHHHH - Patty - I used to do a lot of decoupage with mod podge!

I did it on bottles and glass plant pots mostly - great fun!
You can also use magazine pictures and words - I've got a whole folder of flower pictures cut out from them, but haven't done this in many years - thanks for the reminder. It makes a nice gift - you can pick one particular color of flowers and do it monochromatically, or mix it up. Glossy seed/flower catalogues are also great sources of pictures. You just want to be sure that the paper is not going to absorb too much of the mod podge and get too soggy - that's why glossy usually works best.

Have fun!

Is decoupage something easy to do? Can you use any papers with it aka cardstock, glossy, printed scrapbook, textured? I really like the look of decoupage. I've always had a book/paper fetish. Could the kids help with this? Is mod podge toxic?
