I think most of us can relate to this.
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Richard, the 11 year old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over.
Richard clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?
He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, 'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.' Richard grinned. 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?''
No,' I replied.
'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down: I D 1 0 T
I used to like the little boy...
Helping the world one seed at a time When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

One of the school nursing supervisors is brand new and she told us at our last meeting that one of the school nurses emailed and left a voice message saying that she needed a copy of the IDtenT form ASAP. Please fax it to her as soon as she got the message. She looked and looked for that "important" form. She finally had to call the nurse and ask what she should be looking for because she couldn't find a form called IDtenT. The nurse told her she was very busy, needed that form immediately PLEASE and to write it down and keep trying. She told her it's the number 10 not the word. After a few minutes of panic she realized what was going on.

I like that school nursing supervisor (new). Because she could take the gentle hazing, laugh at herself and share it with others. Fun story, Sheri.
