I saw my first one of the year yesterday afternoon.
I gotta say, I scarred the hibbey-gibby's out of that poor bird.
I was sitting on the porch drinking from a water bottle when he cruized up to the feeder. I grunted loudly, then spewed water out of my mouth, then yelled 'Humming Bird'! that sucker took off and we haven't seen him since.
.........he'll be back.
