This one went by me I thought it was a hummingbird or a another small bird,, it's Huge!,,,,, Could it be a Moth butterfly ? anyone know? At first I thought it might be a swallowtail But I've not seen one this color,,

It does look like a black tiger swallowtail to me, Diane. Not the same as we get here, but the same as in this site... black tiger swallowtail - west

I believe you are right Lynne, ,,,, The coloring stumped me initially,, The last swallowtail I saw had a lot of blue in it,, But I'll take yellow and brown,, It's the first one this year! Thanks!

I would definitely say it is a Giant Swallowtail. Just beautiful!!!!
