I have some paperwork to do I've been putting off all week and it needs to be in the mail tomorrow.... so I'm gone for now but you know me, I'll be back!

We are getting wind right now too.. weather is changing ... cooling off this week and we are supposed to get rain/snow ... think it just may happen too...
I got my house done good this weekend and laundry all done too- didn't get the cooking done but I can do that with the kids around so no problem... I am going to iron tonight while I watch tv... Joe is bbqing burgers for us- so supper will be easy.... going to saute some mushrooms to go on them..... mmmmmmmm.
Well going to go sit outside and enjoy the sun while I can,

Day was good and productive. I have stuff heating for dinner but not too sure who will actually be eating what. Jonni stuffed herself at a nascar race party this afternoon.
Today was lessons day for Jonni. We went tearing out in the rain for a driving and parking lesson. And we did some shopping. I finally made some of Cindy's oatmeal pancakes for the freezer today and Jonni got a pancake flipping lesson. (Mostly how to tell when it is time to flip). I cut Ted's hair out of his eyes. Not the most even cut he has ever had but also not the worst. I will be running his bath in a minute or two. A wash and shiny clean will help the look.

I'm glad y'all have been having a nice Sunday, as busy as you've been.

I'm having a salad for dinner tonight, made of leftovers from our lunch. I like salads that are a mess of ingredients though Maxi doesn't.

Should do a manicure but that's wait til morning.

It was cold here all day but got significantly colder after sunset as it usually does. I woke up from my nap shivering although I had an afghan on me... it just wasn't enough!

Br-r-r-r! I better make some hot tea or I will be too cold to eat my salad!

Our weather report said it is going to be in the Teen's & 20's this week ahead. Br-r-r-r! No wonder all I can think of is going to bed and burrowing under a pile o' blankies!

I woke an hour early today. But slept wonderfully. It is cold here, low 30's but supposed to rise to nearly 70. I'll like it better when the winds die down.

Our weather is just lovely. A little crisp but sunny all around.
It's supposed to start raining again Thursday. I sure hope we get some of this rain this summer.


Merme, I really am coming to Maine one of these days. I've always wanted to visit Maine and Ireland for some reason.

It's been a busy day for me already- got up early to get ready- got my shower and then made pancakes for the boys and Mom- Carrie was running late so they had to hurry and eat- got them to school - had to leave a new bottle of motrin for Timothy... he can't do the imitrex while they are trying to figure out what triggers his migrains... got the kitchen cleaned up when I got back- had my coffee- read the paper and now Nicoli is watching Sesame St and I am here....
We are having a cold spell starting today- smelled like rain outside this morning but so far nothing falling- is really windy and cloudy though...

I just want everyone to know I'm still alive. I've been having some computer issues but I'm ok......hopefully the laptop will be ok now. It was acting up bad this weekend.

Loz it is good to see you on. I've been wondering where you were! I do hope your laptop is really okay. I know how precious it is to you.

Nana I wince everytime I think of Timothy's migraines. I got them as a child also and it made school often miserable. Mine went away in my early 20's and I've always been thankful they did. Hopefully they can sort it all out for the poor child!

how did dialysis go?

I just got in. Now it is nap time. Because I have to go back out when John calls for his ride. I left him for a transfusion.

where is everybody? I was off work today and am off tomorrow and no one is in the ch.????

Dialysis was okay, Cricket. The girl who was so offensive to me last week was spoken to by the Nurse Manager about it and she apologized. I could tell by what she said to me that she didn't really understand what was wrong with her actions. I did not pursue it further, just said "Thank you".

It has been so sunny and bright the last few days but the temps are still in the teens. It is deceptive when you look out the window. You see the day and think you wanna run outside and BASK! Ha! Ya gotta bundle up!

Yesterday Maxi saw it and put shorts on! He had to go change quick!

Sunny and going to mid-70's today. Almost enough to warm my bones. Going to work. Se everyone later.

HI all, just dropping in for a second. New job is intensive. I might get promoted to full time trainer (temporary, hey it's the census)....we'll see if I survive training others this next week! So far job is interesting. Later...

we are expecting some much needed rain today. I need to jump in the shower and get to town and back before it comes. it's in the 70's already here today.

I'm back from my adventuring.

I went to Target and got three of the four shirts I wanted to get Maxi for Holy Week. I got him a red & white thin stripe dress shirt for Palm Sunday. I looked at vests to go with but I want him to try them on first. So then I found a really handsome black polo shirt for Good Friday and a quite attractive shade of purple for this t-shirt for Maundy Thursday. And I found some nice boxers for him as well. So all that's left on his clothing list is a dress shirt and tie for Easter Day.

I also found some cool small loot items for his Easter Basket.

Then I went to the used bookstore I've been wanting to go in for several years. I found the two books I wanted for me AND I found several neat books for Maxi. I was really pleased... six books for $20 all in very good condition.

The books I got for Maxi are: The Sword In The Stone about King Arthur's young life; Into Thin Air about a climb of Mt. Everest; The Wizard of Oz; and Shadow Divers a true mystery written by 2 divers who found a sunken German sub off the coast of NJ and discovered it's history. I think he'll enjoy those reads very much.

The store didn't have the other 16 books in the Oz series, but at least he will have the first one.

I started a book yesterday and am half way finished with it already. it is very good!
so what two books did you get for yourself?
we just got back from the grocery store. were stocked up for a while. we also got some boars head subs that were already made up and in the cooler. they were so good. spicey turkey with pepper jack cheese. yum yum. we splurged for some chip and dip to go with them. I'm stuffed. oh and a gatorade to top it off.

Cricket there are 17 books in the original Oz series. I bought 1. They didn't have the other 16. 1 + 16 = 17. Were you reading my post with your eyes closed or looking at your chips and dip?

I sometimes get so distracted while trying to post I get my fingers off of "home" and type the wierdest stuff. My own name looks really peculiar if I'm not on "home".

I bought myself the Ken Follet book The Pillars of the Earth about the building of a 12th Century Cathedral. And a diet book I've been wanting to read. I need to drop 20 pounds and that can be hard with my dietary and exercise limitations. So, I'm reading.

I heard on a talk show the other day that getting enough sleep can help you loose weight. they didn't go into why, but hey.....it sounds good to me!

yes, chip and dip can be quite a distraction. we've been getting 'creamy southwestern ranch' dip. it is so wonderful. it's basically ranch dressing with bell pepper, garlic, onion, ect.
