We´ve retired here, built a home right on the ocean...on a sand bar with a beautiful lagoon in back...Trying to find plants and trees that won´t be eaten up by the salty air...We are in the midst of cocoanuts, mangos, bananas etc. but so far, only hibiscus, boganvilla and a few other plants really like it here. Any ideas? I did not see this subject in the index. Jeannie
Thanks All for the welcome...Special Thanks to Mister Mystery for the ideas and sites....think I tried everything But...Salt tolerent .... Some of these I think I already have ...The lantana is doing good in a raised bed...before the dogs ate it..I will look at all of these and see what I can find...We are really in a remote area and plant nurserys are far away, also need to learn some of the local Spanish names for the plants...One they call Copa de Oro is good here. Gracias.. Jeannie, Beachlady
