I've been having a rough time lately, and decided that today was the day that I was going to get myself a treat, so I was thrilled to find this solar light at Christmas Tree Shops today. I'm not so crazy about all the many solar lights that are out there lately, but this one spoke my name! It came in blue or green - of COURSE I had to get the blue, to put out by my pond!
Light this afternoon when I got home in the daylight.
Tonight without even having a day to charge up in the sun - this is the light from being in the store only. I hope it gets brighter as it gets solar charged, though I'll probably have to wait a few days - it's supposed to rain all weekend.
I had to go back and look for the stone wall---very nice, Lynne---so glad that sheri pointed it out.
I LOVE your solar light !! WOW--it is the perfect compliment to your chair, and perfect for the pond area. I want one of those CTS around here--you are always finding such nice things in them.
Thanks so much for showing use your latest "find". so glad for you.

Sheri - that rock wall was all over the ground when we first moved in here - Don rebuilt it the first summer we lived here - piece by piece - it took him the entire summer - 2 months to get it all done, and in the process he got a horrible case of poison ivy - it even went through his shirt and was blistering all over his abdomen! Poor guy - the only other time I've seen him that miserable was when he got the chicken pox when Brian was 5 and shared it with him!
Anyone else get any new solar lights they'd like to share here?
Thanks everyone! Anyone else get any new solar lights they'd like to share here?
not a classy as yours is Lynne, but, well, you asked so here it is---but surely I shared this already, right???
I have 2 more, 1 blue & 1 green, all 3 the same style----I am keeping 2 of the 3 for my long flower bed, but I am not sure which is going in my "gift bag" as of yet--- so right now all I have out is the one blue one.

That looks very nice, Carol! May I make a suggestion? Next time take the picture of the light with your camera flash turned off - it shows the light better in the solar light, though I did like seeing the structure of the light too - pretty! Maybe one of each?
The light looks like it has a good solar panel inside. I've seen quite a few of that type in both Home Goods and TJMaxx this season - guess they are popular this year. Glad you were able to get some.
well I thank yo for the info, my bad--- What I DO NOT know about the camera would fill volumns. I will try again tomorrw night--surely I wll feel better by then--- \And I am not done looking---soon I will be making a trip to my favorite nursery perhpas they will have some to tempt me???

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
If I had a solar light I wouldn't have had to hijack this topic.
Me too, Cindy Jo Bob Roscoe Faye Pearl.
But I at least, have "Solar Lights" on my Official Shopping List! (They've moved up the line from my Official Dream List)

Okay I have an idea that might work........ I have a small solar ball about the size of a softball,,,,, I may rearrange the stars , move them up further and hang the solar light above them or among them, Hmmmmmmm Gotta give that a little more thought,

I looked online trying to find a moon for the village and didn't have any luck.
no I couldn't find any either,,,,, I'm working on the idea About the smaller solar ball above the stars,,, as soon as I finish some more yard work I'll go try to do that, I just came in for a break. I ran out of trash bags,, & don't feel like going to the store,,,,,, and I have 3 piles of cuttings of shrubs and leaves, weeds,, I still need to bag up
