Hi..I am new to the forum.
I am not much of a gardener I lived in New York all my life till 3 years ago that
we bought a Town home in Piscataway and I decided to garden in our small space
in the back and front of our home. I am hoping to learn so that I can become
a better gardener. I have so far been learning by trial and error. I need to become
more knowledgeable in this area for my 6 year old daughter and I seem to bond
during our planting sessions. I would love to nurture that side of her.

Welcome. We all learn from trial and error. And then we share what we have learned here with our friends. Gardening is a wonderful thing to do with children. Please settle in and have some fun with us.

small spaces are great for gardening. They're easy to control and water if need be. You've found the right place.

Hi!

I am also in northern New Jersey, and was living in an urban area for a long time before finding myself with some dirt to play in again about a year ago. I have two little kids, and they LOVE to garden with me--from planting to pulling weeds, to cleaning up leaves. It's a fun activity to share with them.
