Here is the EASTER BASKET HD bought for me .
Farmer Basket .With a new oolor of azalea.. Boy was they going fast at that store........Even the men were getting them.

Love it

PS.......Haley was here today, she can count to 10.. and she is 27 months old.
The way we found out.. I have a rug with squares, and she was hopping on each square and counting .. LOL world of tv.

around here every azalea can go outside. Not sure in your area. I've seen them in pots but I think they all eventually go outside - around here anyway.

I have been looking and most azaleas I have found to be zone 7 and up. A couple of named varieties were down to zone 4.

I have 2 other azaleas outside in winter.. Are hardy.
IF not why are they at our malls?

we have azaleas around here to and I am in zone 6---some places say I am 6A some places say I am 6B--but people have them here---but most are not out in the open, but are closer to the houses--perhaps that protects them???

Barb, that is a beautiful plant--your DH did well!!!

I doubt if that one is a hardy type..
I have 2 hardy, but they dont do well.. Oh 3.......I have a great one called Flame ..
