Rhonda's Cheese Dip

Mix:
4-8 TLB chopped green onion..(I begin with 4)
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled..(sometimes I put more)
3/4 C. almonds..chopped or slivered

when the above is blended, add:

1 C. Mayonaise..do not substitute.--NOT Miracle Whip
Mix well and refrigerate. Serve with your favorite dipping cracker. I use Wheatables or wheat thins.

[color:#CC0000] * [/color]"real" mayo-- is sold in 8 oz jars--which makes this recipe easy if you are like me and do not keep real Mayo in the house. You may want to add a bit more mayo, to reach desired moisture.

Thanks, Carol, it sounds pretty tasty. I wonder if you could substitute cashews for almonds?

sure why not----if ya werent so happy you could always change it back next time;

or if it were me, I would make it all but the almonds, take a bite out, add come cashews, & try it----if ya liked it carry on, if not ya could try the same with the almonds---or any other favorite nut of yours, until you came upon a winner. thumbup
