Me again!
Gosh, I feel so ... gardeningly-challenged!

I am trying to be very good about watering, but it's been about a month and I figure my seedlings need some food!

I have a natural foliar fertilizer spray (from Natura) that is 0.04-0.02-0.12.
Could I add a spritz into a cup of water and water the seedlings?

Good? Bad?
Both flowers and tomatoes and peppers.

Thanks so much!
:)

I wouldn't. I'd just mist with water. you can use a spray bottle to mist the leaves and to keep the soil moist. if they look like they need a bit more 'nutrition' and they have put on more leaves than just the first set of leaves, you could replant them into slightly bigger containers.
I just read recently for my squash not to feed until the plant begins to vine. So I assume other plants would follow a similar rule.

I have been feeding my seedlings with 10-52-10 fertilizer since I started them, seems to work ok for me. Just did a huge job with transplanting and I'll be feeding those with the same for about a month and then I switch over to 20-20-20.

But misting with plain water as cricket says is the best overall.

Hmmmm... food for thought! Thanks to both of you!

I think I shall try a little spritz in the water for some, and plain water for others and compare!

This forum gives me the confidence to experiment!
