When I purchased these today, there wasn't a sign on them as to what they were,, BUT<, They were sitting on a table with Red salvia , same leaf, same bloom. I was totally surprised to see them in these colors,, shock clap

When I got to the counter to pay the cashier told me they were snap dragons rolz touched notme She Insisted they were, I argued that they were on the same table as the Red salvia she still said they were snap dragons,, egad I bought them any way just because of their unusual colors. When I got home I looked them up and Yes they are Salvia neenee There is a new hybird out called Salvia Splendens,, these are are just two of the 5 new ones they have out,, Though it is uncommon to find the striped one,, Most are solid Salmon color,, so I got lucky! grin

Very VERY pretty Diane! I love the purple one - such a pretty and different color! Both plants look very healthy too, and not at ALL like snapdragons - you have such a good eye for different plants!

The cashier must not have been "garden savey" cause even I would have known those aren't snap dragons! grin

Those are beautiful Diane!!!

Everyone who's posted seems to like the purple best, and , I love the purple too, but, I REALLY love the striped ones!! Maybe just because they are unusual.
