hi,
I am so glad to have found this forum. I love gardening and being outdoors and working in the dirt! crazy huh. well I have a question about my peace lily . I had a huge plant and decided to transplant it. I divided it up into 3 plants and gave one to my daughter and one to my daughter in-law. Well its been about 8 months and we havent gotten any flowers on these plants. They are healthy otherwise. whats wrong? somebody told me that they like to be root bound and they will flower when they are root bound. is that true? Any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Sometimes the wait is long, I've had mine now for at least 3 years and it bloomed the first year and never since. I don't mind though cause it's a plant that can grow in a room with little light. Works well in one of my guest room.

does the peace lily come in two different kinds i have a plant that looks like the peace lily but the leaves are dark and light green. when it blooms it has the sail flower on it but for some reason it looks droopy right now. i sit it out in the rain today and now it looks better so i guess it worked.it has nor bloomed for awhile now.
