Does anyone have any Kentucky Coffeetree's by them, or have grown them? In New York they are hard to find, the ones you do find usually are the Really old trees that were saved from being cut many, many years ago, by me there is only 1 for miles!
One year I decided to grow some from
seed, not many lived, out of 10
seeds, only 4 sprouted, and then after only 1 survived. They grow REALLY slow and are so thin as
seedlings like toothpicks! I gave it to someone with huge property, dont know if it lived though.
By me all the houses are really small and the Town is cutting down trees all the time for more houses, I wish they would save large property to grow more KCT (kentucky coffee trees). There just isnt an area around here large enough to have one grow to maturity.
