This is my very first orchid plant. I cannot take the credit for the blossoms but hopefully I can keep the plant going and one day it will blossom again for me.

Wow! That is fantastic! I hope it keeps blossoming for you. My orchids are outdoors, and only flower once each year, but the flowers last for ages. I like the idea of the hair clip holding up the stem. My daughters have hundreds of those, so maybe I could pinch a few!

BEAUTIFUL. I have 2 they are outside, the blooms has been for 3 months.

How long will those bloom if inside? I love them they are so pretty but I am not sure about them. Indoor house plants is a whole other world for me :).

I heard that the blooms will last 3 or 4 months if in the proper location.

Another safe way to water an orchid, use a BBQ Skewer place it in the pot and leave it there, if you are not sure when to water take out the skewer and it the skewer is still damp you do not have to water it, if the skewer is dry, then water the orchid.
