I put 4 feeders out today and not even 5 minutes after I put the last one up, one about knocked me in the head. LOL I thought it was a bumble bee and when I looked up I was all excited. I went to get my camera but it was here and gone by the time I got back out, so I will be watching knowing that they are already ready to eat off my feeders! I am so excited to know they are back!

I was very busy all day Saturday and got to sit down and enjoy my evening yesterday, so I was by my feeders watching for them that evening. I got a few pictures. I need to get the pictures on my laptop so I can load them on here. Hope to that in a little while.

The males have a red throat that OFTEN appears black. Females have a white throat. Unlike humans, in the Bird world the MALES are often the prettier of the sexes.
