Superb! What is that bottom one, Thorn? The leaves look like one we used to get in Darwin, called coffee bush (nothing to do with actual coffee).

That is a Mimosa, originally from China. It is a tree that grows at least 1 to 2 meters a year. This one is 5 years old and is about 6 meters tall. They have GORGEOUS feathery pink and white blossoms with the most incredible smell that form bean pod-like seed pods. The seeds look somewhat like coffee beans so it MIGHT be what you call a coffee bush.

I can't remember whether there were flowers on what we called coffeee bushes, but they I know they grow fast. I am a late-blooming gardener, so didn't notice much in those days. Youth is wasted on the young!
