Think this is a mystery to me because I threw away the stick with the name on it that was in the little pot when I bought it, and now I've forgotten! I bought it a couple of years ago when it was about four inches tall. I loved it because of it's unusual leaves. The stems of some leaves are yellow, and the edges of some are yellow, and some even have yellow spots, also, some have an extra point out from the main body of a leaf, causing it to look like a staghorn. It has been no trouble to raise. It tolerates watering once a week, or sometime a little longer if I forget. But it seems to like it best when I water it sooner than once a week. Today it is eighteen inches tall, to the tip of it's tallest leaf on top. Here is is when it was little, and the next picture I took today. ![[Linked Image]](http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Plants%20and%20Willies/YellowGreenPlant-1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Plants%20and%20Willies/MysteryApr2709.jpg) As you can see, as it got older it has become more green and less yellow. Since I talk and sing to my plants, which keeps them happy and growing like crazy, I would really like to know its name. Thanks all,

Here are two of the several leaves it has, which I call staghorn. ![[Linked Image]](http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Plants%20and%20Willies/MysteryStaghornLeafApr27092.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Plants%20and%20Willies/MysteryStaghornLeafApr27091.jpg)

Thanks Cricket, but I don't know what a Croton is You know what Diane is going to tell me..'look it up.' ....I will if no one tells me exactly what it is....I'm lazy! I could call it 'dear' since it has some staghorn leaves..but that's too generic...I call them all dear, sweetie, pretty thing, sweetheart..whatever..from time to time. Or, I could call it 'spot' since it has some yellow spots..but that sounds like a dog!!

I'm lazy about looking up stuff too. croton's are usually varigated with red, but there are some varieties that are just green and yellow. I'm not sure the leaves are quite right for a croton though? so, don't bothering looking it up just yet. let's wait on someone more knowledgeable.
