My Orchid's stem is turning yellow yikes! I recently repotted it in some nice orchid potting mix after the flowers died off in the hopes that it would flower again.. Well, then the stem turned a yellow color; is this normal why? This is my first orchid and it is so beautiful when in bloom luv! What can I do? What am I doing wrong nervous? Thanks guys!

I usually cut the stem off and just keep the leaf part of the plant cared for. Mine blooms once a year for me.
