I have a small dogwood in my wooded area right on the edge of the bank before the street. If it grows there it would have to be wacked good by the state people. I'd like to have it in my front yard between the telephone pole and the tree bed. I tried digging one up and putting it there but it died. Can someone suggest how I could do this if I could do it at all? Thanks in advance for your help.
