Mini
roses aren't suited to be grown in a regular house as a houseplant - in fact
roses weren't meant to be enjoyed inside at all! Depending on where you live, you may be able to keep your mini
rose outside and have it return. The tag should say hardy to ____ and if it's hardy to your
zone, you can keep it outside all year:)Enjoy the blooms that it has now inside, and when it stops blooming, transfer it outside (being sure to harden it off first) Even if it isn't hardy, they will do better outside, and will most likely bloom again as they bloom on new wood. I have a mini orange that I planted last year and it's made it through fine despite the poor drainage and bitter winter.
