Girl I hear several of them,, Sometimes it all goes quiet but not for long,, it's like they all finished took a breath then one starts the others start and it starts all over again,, also Finches come out and sing too around 6-6:30
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
I see now that you said "several". Reading too quickly. I heard the one that Lizzy killed, who I think sang all day long. He was singing when I left for work and when I came home. I never saw him leave his wire but then he was gone and Lizzy came dragging up a dead bird. I figured it was him. Maybe I'm wrong and he just moved to the front. But I still just have one singing all the time.
Also yesterday, I witnessed a pair of hummingbirds makin' babies! No time to grab my camera, they're quicker'n rabbits! I wish I could find their nest.

Ohhhh, I so have to agree with you there. It certainly gave me a good chuckle this morning. I don't think I will be able to look at another of my cardinals now without giggling.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.
Can someone give me an ID on this bird? I saw two different yellow ones today. The other one I couldn't get a picture of, but it was a bit more stout and plump brownish gray and muted yellow on the underbody.
Yellow Warblers don't have dark wings. They are SOLID yellow all over, like a canary. They also have red streaks on the breast. Prothonotary Warblers are ONE of the Cavity nesting Warblers. Prothonotarys are ALWAYS found within 50 - 100 feet of water especially heavily wooded water. They are one of my favoroite Warblers. They are INCREDIBLY pretty. Their song is, "SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! SWEET!" They are inquisitive and friendly and don't have much fear of man. Here is the underside of a Prothonotary I took almost 3 years ago.
