Hi everyone, I've been perusing the various threads and found a lot of good information, so figured I'd sign up. I've just taken up gardening again, and planted a strip of flowers out front and will be tilling the veggie garden this weekend...my peas, melons, tomatoes, and peppers are already springing up with aplomb in their little starter pots.

Hope I can keep the weeds under control this year. haha

hello everyone. I just joined, so wanted to say HI. I am in zone 6b/7 in OK. Starting about 5 projects out front. we are in kind of country area,4 miles from anything.1 acre lot. mine s mostly grass right now, but not for long!
You have alot of good information here. we are doing bulbs, peonies, fish pond, retaining wall, and prolly evergreens along front, but not this year! I have 3/4 acre in back to play with too. that will be a year or so to even start, but trying to get the landscape design in place. all in full sun here and windy of course! I work 12 hour days, so not a lot of time, but we get alot done on weekends. love flowers, and gardens, and dogs. we have 2 jrts, and 1 boxer/shepard puppy. kids are grown, 1 still in college, so funds are tight. always have a little somewhere for the planting projects though right!? so thats me. Hope to meet you all..:)
