I bought this plant a couple of weeks ago it had a couple of buds on it already. I was keeping my fingers crossed that the buds didn't drop when I transplanted it into the ground!,, It bloomed today,, and I've noticed several more buds or developing and a couple of more ready to open clap For such a small plant thus far it sure is happy! grin

Beautiful Diane! I'm not sure if my passion flower survived our winter. I see some new growth near the bottom so I'm leaving it and hoping for the best. I just got it last year so I hope it makes it. My blooms were very strange, it would open up for a couple days then close back up until it died. Hope yours is better.

I'm not sure but even if it is it's worth it to still see the blooms.

Passifloras are supposed to open at midday until three and stay open for a day - that's what i was told. Linneaus proposed it to be used in a 'floral clock' because it opened reliably at 12pm where he was

Helping the world one seed at a time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
