Terrific gifts, Carol!!!

I've not seen the first one before, but I have a black lace by the edge of my pond in the pond garden - I love how frilly the leaves are and the pink flowers are such a nice bonus!

Great job Valarie and Rod!

I think I got a wonderful mother's day gift as well! (sorry my camera is busted so I couldn't take pics... an old grandma like me wouldn't really know how to get the pictures on my computer anyway.) I got strawberry plants! And bug repellent! I posted a problem how the ants kept eating my strawberry seeds? Not anymore! grin Now I can plant my seeds with complete confidence they won't be eaten! ♥ I love my grandchildren.

The sandcherry bush has gorgeous leaves. Do they stay that colour all year, or do they change in Autumn?

Great Mother's day gift. The Black Lace was my Birthday Present from my daughter two years ago. I Love it. I started a Black and White garden and that plant really sets it off.

Beautiful bushes, Carol Jean!

I particularly like the color of the Purpleleaf Sandcherry; it is so deep and vibrant!

What handsome additions to your yard.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Stevie: Foliage remains a reddish-purple all summer. fragrant pinkish flowers bloom in spring after leaves appear. Colorful cherries appear in the fall, and the leaves will turn a bronze-green.

and I want to thank Diane, Barb, Lynne, magicalbunny, stevie_g, Cinta and Merme for all their kind and wonderful words!!! kissie to you all.

It sounds like a wonderful tree! Hope you will be able to take some photos of it as it goes through the seasons.
