Hi SwissMiss
welcome to the gardehelper
I am a retired Floral Designer, now totally immersed in creating a backyard oasis. I do the planning, and my husband does the work. Works for me......
sounds Like a
Plan to me
The possiblities are endless with window boxes,,,, being a floral designer you can use the principles you used in designing bouquets,, baskets, etc,, Several different plants can go into a window box will look awesome. Even
succulents with the same watering , sun/shade requirements can be mixed in,
Cascading
flowers, flowing out of the box would look really cool,,
just use your imagination as you did in designing floral arrangements.
IF you are going to the nursery to purchase started plants~ take one of the boxes with you and arrange different
flowers/
succulents in it. I've done that my self on occasion, this way you will already know if there is enough room for growth, if it's the look you want, and your Hubby will know you didn't work all those years as a floral designer to leave your talents at the
flower Shop
