Hello!
I need to get rid of some concrete slabs around the house in order to make my dream landscape. My question...since the concrete is up against the house, does this damage the termite protection? I only ask because my parents added a small addition years ago and later found out that they needed to redo the termite protection because the boarders had been dug up.
Is there a way to avoid needing to redo the termite protection without damage to the house?
Thank you for any help!

Our pest controller has always told us not to plant against the house as this makes the soil moist and invites whiteants.
