how are things Tina?

I'm in a brown funk tonight. Overtired and cranky! It's been a hard day.

So I'm going to make some Red rose Tea and fah-get about it!

Tomorrow will be brighter.

I'm feeling very edgy tonight. I don't know if it's the long day I had - not hard and long just long. Or the new sinus med I took about an hour ago. ever feel like taking a baseball bat to the dirty dishes?
UGH, maybe its a combination of it all.
whew....pass me a cup of that tea, merme! I think I need some.

Ohhh, I have problems with hyperactivity and some cold/sinus meds. I am afraid of new ones because I can't sleep for 48 hours or more. Take care Cricket.
I am good Sheri. The funeral was wonderful. I was only dreading it before because of the organization things that needed doing. It all fell into place and was good.
More stuff and appointments are on my plate in the future but the worst is past. I hope.

all those details and decision making can be horrifying, tina. when my mom passed away I remember being in that office and thinking if they ask me one more stupid nit picky question I'm running out the door. Can't I just pick package number one!?! once the funeral was underway and over with, I felt good about how nice everything turned out. your in my prayers tina! you are a strong woman.

yea, the sinus med I took earlier says for 24 hour relief and non drowsy. that would lead one to believe you wouldn't be able to sleep for 24 hours. I've never taken one that said 24 hour relief before. it's almost 10pm and I feel like running around the house....then 'doing' the dishes with a baseball bat.

Cricket I've not done dishes with a bat before, but I have purposefully broken glasses!

Being on the west coast I usually get on the computer after everyone else has gone to bed. How are you tonight? Hope your allergy meds are messing with you too badly. I'm on my second new med for my sciatic after having adverse side effects with the first. Hope this one works for me. The rain came back tonight, natures hose, now I don't have water. We had a beautiful weekend, sunny and 70's. We got some spring cleaning and rearranging done around the house this weekend and we had our first grill out of the year.

were having a bit of cooler weather all week, too. it is nice! 60's at night and 80's during the day. wish it could be like this all year long! we got a good soaking rain over the weekend too. so, I won't have to water till the end of the week.

If I thought someone else would clean up the mess, I'd brake all those dirty dishes, just to hear them crack!

I have 3 dishwashers, their names are Ashley, Mandy, and Joey.

Doing alright. The girls are doing their own thing tonight and the boys are playing on xbox live. Aros bought a 2nd xbox so they could both play online together. Boys and there toys. How are you doing? I read that you got some new plants, that's always exciting!

I told my two kidos to get on the dishes when they get home from school tomorrow. they are good about helping, but only if I ask.

We have a system for doing dishes. The kids know they have to do dishes and the rotate who does them, from youngest to oldest. After dinner whoever's turn it is knows to just do it. For everything else though I have to ask them. You'd think when the trash is falling on the floor they would know it needs to be emptied but instead they'll just see how high they can pile it before I tell them to take it out.

Kids are funny, Cheryl! I had to chuckle at you and the trash. Pile it to the sky!

My kid is a good helper but honestly, sometimes he is so ABSENTMINDED I wonder what the heck happened? Today he forgot to take a book to school. He forgot to stay after school for the homework program although he has a test pending he needs to make up. His dad said "What are you doing here?" when he came in at the regular time. Maxi just said "It's Monday, Dad." He had totally forgot about the after school thing!

I know he has a rich inner life, but I mean, REALLY!

I know what you mean, Merme. Sometimes we wonder how the girls have straight A's. Sometimes they are just so blond, at other times they just seem to lost their brain.

I am just coming in and everyone is leaving. It is a west coast thing. I hope everyone sleeps well.

H'lo all ...just came in to say goodnite too... worked my patootie off today ... for got how much lifting and bending was involved in hanging out my laundry... a flight of stairs and to the line and back- I have to run my dry clothes thru the dryer for a few minutes to get the pollen off of them... and it makes them soft too...sure beats using the dryer for the whole thing though...
I am sure looking forward to our vacation in AZ... I will take the heat just want to relax and not "have" to do anything for awhile...
Well off to bed- can't keep my eyes open now and want to stretch my sore achy body out for a while...

I would love to take a box load of dishes and throw and break everyone of them. I might just do that one day. Out side of course. I wish I had the nerve to do it inside. I have an adult relative who started an egg fight in her own lovely house. It was fun but a mess.

Once in a while when we were teens, my sibs would have a bit of a water fight in the house when my mom was at work.
Good morning. As soon as I have time to really sit and some energy along with I need to call about my internet connection again. The off and on again is driving me nuts.

well, I'm off work today. SO glad the boss called and said she was sick too. we'll have some hectic days later on in the week, but it will be worth it to get some rest today.

Today is my "day off" from medical junk, so I spent the morning busy with a million business type tasks and a few chores such as the dishwasher and the laundry.

Now I am ready to just putz around the house because all my work is done! YAY!

I think our 'open' sign is broken, cause no one has been in the CH since the AM. OH, I see the prob. It came unplugged.

I've made a fresh pot of coffee, tea is brewing, and muffins will be ready in a jiff. there's also a few burgers if anyone wants any real food.

how have you enjoyed your day off from the dreaded?
I slept most of my day off and watched a couple of movies in between napping. (Jerry McGuire and Sherk 2) then I got tired of all the laying around and fed the garden the entire compost pile that was ready and started a new one.

I did business matters most of the day. So I'm feeling dreary.

I wouldda done better watching movies with you!

I'm taking a break from doing homework. On Saturday, I went fishing. I caught two bluegills.They made some mighty fine dinner.

I started the coffee if anyone wants some.Cinnimon rolls will be out of the oven in a min.

Weather Guesser says it is gonna be another nice day here in Tn. So I think I will continue the backyard job. I only got 7 hours done. Have about that much more to do.
I got 5 years of pine needles,pine cones and gum balls raked up and burnt. What a mess. I planted some sedium in the corner shade garden whike taking a break.
I have to fix the fountain part of the big pond in the morning before the little boss gets up.Do not need him in the pond with me.The cat knocked it to the side while playing in the ferns.Right now it is headed for the overflow *sigh*

Well since it is 2:19 here, I think the bed is calling me.
