Last year my dad used a fertilizer before planting is seeds, this year he did not. Now his plants are not growing. Is it too late to add the fertilizer or can I add it in now? Should we just replant everything before time runs out? Thanks in advance, Val

You can basically fertilize any time. Be sure to use a water soluble fert. Most chemical fert.s are water soluble, and some, like Miracle Gro, are to be dissolved in water before applying. Some fertilizers are slow release, and won't help immediately, the labeling will say if they are. It would help to know where you are and what you are growing.

One thing that occurs to me, it may be that soil temperatures haven't warmed enough yet, but the lettuce and spinach should be showing growth.
