So....WHEN IS IT????....I can't find it on the calendar!!

no, it's not listed on the calander. I'm a bit of a parodiod freak about giving out too much info.

I'm off early today. AND it's a friday. it just doesn't get much better than this. gotta pay some bills then I plan on working in the garden a bit. it's only in the 80's today so it will be nice working outside weather!

are you gonna tell us or do we have to send Cindy to see you?

I say let cindy consult the aliens and THEY will tell you the date. any date will do. it's not so profound if you celebrate on the wrong date ya know! we could do it tomorrow or sunday then I can feel good about being 40 when I'm actually still 39!
Man, this last time I went to the doc about my ear infections she prescribed some steriods along with a new antibiotic. I don't know if I feel so good cause the antibiotics are making me feel better than I have in weeks or if its the steriods. but man oh man, I'm going 90 to nothing today! worked half a day, paid bills and only signed once, worked in the garden, cleaned out the doggie pool and am filling it up for them now. what to do next? anyone up for the 100 yd dash? Me likey steriods! but, I think I'll have to get my lip waxed along with my eyebrows next time I go! you think I could get a refil on that steriod script???

anyone use laundry detergent 'with bleach'?
hubby went shopping last time and bought something or another 'with bleach'. I haven't used it yet and have read all over the box to see if it's ok or not ok to wash colored things in. the box says NOTHING either way.
Man, there are three things in this whole wide world I am particular about when it comes to brand names. that's my cheese, my laundry detergent, and my fabric softner!

Cricket unless the box of detergent says specifically "color safe", I would not use it on anything but whites.

Maxi is here and we're watching Judge Dread, one of those great "legend" Sly Stallone films.

well, I'll stay away from using that detergent on things other than whites, then.
and as I said earlier....me likey the steriods. who needs vitamins, just give me a steriod each morning!

eventually those steriods are going to make you eat everything in sight.

can you try the bleach on something old instead of not using it. Or look it up online?

eventually..??? I woke up this morning and cooked me up some frozen fish. It was wonderful on toasted bread with cheese and mayo! Yum! Yum!

yea, I'll use that detergent one way or another. I'll start off with some whites, then move on to some oldie but goodies cloths.

I'm now burning some brush and about to crank up the lawnmower.

I used clothes soap with bleach, I have some with bleach & some without--I also have & use the coldwater type and the stuff for dark clothes-----I do refrain from using the "with bleach" one on my good clothes though----I think you may like to use it in say sheets & white underwear.

Cricket, make a list and get everything done because when you come off these steriods you're gonna feel a little let down. Do everything now while you've got the energy and hurry up - I need you at my house.

Cricket Judge Dread is based on the comic books of the same name and takes place in the Third Millenium. Crime had gotten so bad, citizens formed mega-cities and invented The Judges... they were cops, Judge, Jury, and Executioner all in one. They lived & breathed The Law. Stallone plays a street judge who gets convicted of murders he didn't do. It is all a part of a complex plot he & his friends unravel. As you would imagine, it is every bit staged as a comic book action hero come to life and has a good bit of humor in it. Besides, we like Stallone.

yea, I can already see the coming down off steriods thing. If I did as much every day that I"ve done in the last two days...???....I'd fall out from exhaustion. I guess I have to stick to my centrum and gatorade?!?

did you ever see that movie with stalone where they go into the future and he's a defrosted robot/guy and all those people live underground in the sewers? that was a GREAT movie.

I use the with bleach soap. It will not hurt your clothes. I use it on all things from whites to the baby's and my dark jeans. Never been a problem.

Its a beautiful morming here in the Rockies.... I saw a colorado bluebird this morning when I picked up the paper... they are so pretty...
Boy my house is quiet with no boys in it- hubby left for work- Mom just woke up a minute ago- heard her stirring- will have to go do her meds and later breakfast but will let her dress first-
I think we will be going to Sams later today to get or at least price the food for the baptism party... and to grocery shop too... few things I need and I am sure Carrie needs stuff too... kids just seem to want to eat - funny that way.
Well gotta go and get Mom started on her day... and get my shower and get my laundry started- want to hang it out and it might t-storm later today they say... gotta see if I can get it all dry before then....
Oh yes cofee is on and have some cinnamon/apple muffins too... juice in the pitcher , breakfast burritos too with salsa if you like- enjoy!

Good morning. I have not been absent so much as quiet. I am doing nothing special this weekend.

Nana you are busy as ever. I seem like a lazy slug by comparison!

Today I am resting! I got up early, scurried around to do a few needful things, and made Maxi a cheese omelette. While he was eating, we went through an issue of Men's Health Magazine together to smell the designer men's cologne samples inside and laugh at the prices of it all. Then he ran off to play and I am going to hit the couch with the book I have underway.

I have had a Nana's11 morning. I woke up at 6:15 and was coughing so bad I just got up. Allergies I think. usually I stay quiet but today I woke up Johnny and ToDeTa. I straightened the house, we went to the Farmers Market, the lady came at 10:00 to measure my little, screened in porch for blinds (yippee. I'm excited about finally getting blinds out there), I cooked some of what we got at the Farmers Market, green bean and potatoes and fried some squash with a Valdalia onion and it's only 12:29. I need a nap.

We are having an unusual heat wave... it has been 90 here for the last two days. Just a couple of days before, we were down in the 20's! I had to turn our a/c on yesterday.

Okay now I feel like a Dumb Cluck.

I did something to the TV and/or the Remote and suddenly I can't adjust the volume using either the remote OR the TV buttons!

So... I called Maxi at his friends house and he is on his way home to fix it for me.

Really idjit stuff, I'm sure.

I know how you feel Merme... I managed to move a little slider at the top of Mom's remote the other day and coudn't figure out why it wouldn't work for about an hour- Timothy went in and fixed it- he is 8......
Well I did get off my lazy behind today and did the laundry- it's almost done now... cleaned the microwave.. mopped the kitchen floor.. vacummed upstairs and the living room... dusted it too... cleaned the upstairs bath too... took out the papers and now I am almost ready to quit for the day... gotta fold the laundry, put it away....
Well off to finish up and then I am going to curl up and read for a while... just finished The Accidental Mother- it was really good.

Ginger gave me a new IPOD for my birthday in April and I can't figure out how to use it. Everytime I talk to her she asks me about it.

I am wondering if Sheri is still trying to figure out her ipod 3 hours later.

probably so given that she has been trying since April to figure it out---I have to wonder if 3 more hours will help. I am sure it would NOT help ME

(MY kids have to come by & say OK< Mom here is how you use this piece of new electronics---otherwise I am lost.)
