Lately when I've sent my attendant to go buy tomatoes, she's been bringing back a variety I am unfamiliar with and do not like!
These tomatoes have a very hard yellow core on the inside that is nearly impossible to cut through with my sharpest knife. I have never seen a tomato with such a hard core.
Does anyone know what type of tomato this is or otherwise what might cause this center hard core?

But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

This type of tomato is called a pear tomato. I grew them once before and I did not like them. They are all very hard on the inside like a pear, hence the name.
