My post man brought me a package today. It was from Memosa (Pam) Inside was a pair of hand designed flip flops (frogs of course), a shelf frog and a frog charm--do we see a theme her???
Pam Thank you so much for your kindness.
and yes, Pam they fit just beautifully, thank you so much!!!! I love them --as well as the froggie charm and my shelf froggie in her reto swim suit.
if I can get a better pic of the charm I will post it later.
here they are.....
I just HAD to post a picture of the box the charm came in--I wanted you all to see it as well.

Hey!! too bad we don't have a special "theme" thread. We could each (whom ever wants to) put our likes, dislikes, what we collect, etc. in a post and it could always be available to be "checked out" if somebody felt the 'need'.
:wink:I myself print out and keep questionnaires from the fall swaps & such. LOL--you never know when it might come in handy--

I have been reading everyday and have made a post here and there but like you said I have been busy. So far i have made 10 pairs of those flippers and yes, i just finished yours Angel. Now if I can just get them in the mail by this week end. But looks like I am going to have to cut back on my gift giving and maybe even FOOD. My husbands horse ( BroncoII ) died last week end so we had to break down and buy a new car. I was so happy when we paid off our last vehicle last year and was able to have a little extra cash to be able to spend on others. Even though it was just little trinkets I just love being able to give to others but now it looks like i will be having to cut back there and maybe on other luxury things like Food and cable and maybe even phone. I know that will never cut back on caring for my four legged babies and I just might( probably need ) to cut out the food but the phone! Now that might just possibly do me in.
Wonder if Bill needs a pair ? I have been looking for something gnomey (that I could attach to flip flops) but so far no luck.

My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.
So sorry to hear about the needing a new vehicle. I dread the day I will know about that. My Blazer is 9 years old now and believe me I do not look forward to the day when we need to get a new one---

Well, his horse was an '88 so I guess it had a good long ride. And my Kia Sportage that he just took over is a 2000 but it has less than 24,000 miles on it ( it only went to Walmart and back.) so it is still in pretty good condition. The new vehicle is a 2009 Kia Sophia with a 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty so if it goes no father than the Sportage it will be under warranty for 10 years and out of warranty long before it ever sees 100,000 miles. I am pretty sure both vehicles will last us probably for the rest of our lives. I figure that our next vehicle will be motorized wheel chairs.
